Livery Event: The Financial Services Livery Companies Pub Takeover

On Monday 15th April, the Financial Services Group of Livery Companies are holding a social evening at the historic ‘Hand & Shears’ public house at 1 Middle St, Barbican, London EC1A 7JA situated 100m from the Barbican exit of the Elizabeth Line Farringdon Station.

This event is open to any member from the Companies below and is entirely open in format. The pub will be exclusively ours for the night from 6pm till 11pm. The idea of the event is that members from across the broad financial services sector will be able to meet and mingle with no agenda apart from serendipity and no cost apart from what you spend over the bar. And what better thing to do on a Monday evening in the City but to meet up in one of the City’s oldest pubs with like-minded people? Pop in for an hour or two, or stay for the evening, however, please do note that the pub does not provide food, so do plan to eat before or after.

As a matter of courtesy, and to ensure the pub has the right staffing levels, please would you register (with no charge) via our website so that we know if you are intending to come along, and do so no later than Friday 12th April.  The Master and Immediate Past Master look forward to seeing other Guild members at this opportunity for fellowship with fellow financial services professionals.
