James de Sausmarez

I retired from my full-time role at Janus Henderson Investors in 2022 and am now combining  my pro-bono activities with seeking NED positions. I am the current Master of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, Chair of Governors at Queenswood School in Hertfordshire and a member of St Paul’s Cathedral Council and independent member of their Finance Committee.

I am also a Trustee of two charities and a former Common Councilman at the City of London Corporation. I am a founding member of the Guild as I believe that it is important for the investment management profession to be represented alongside other financial services professions among the historic City of London Livery companies. The Financial Services Group of Livery companies advise the Lord Mayor and Sheriffs in their role promoting the City of London as a global financial and professional services centre.
