Phil holds a Bsc from Surrey University and an MA from Cass Business School. Phil has worked in the investment management industry for 37 years and holds a number of non-Executive roles across the industry. Prior to be becoming a non-executive, Phil’s executive roles included being the Global Head of Real Assets Equity during his 14 years at AEGON Asset Management with responsibility for direct and indirect, listed and non-listed investment strategies. Prior to that he spent 10 years at Aviva Investors developing their sector-focused real estate funds business. 

Phil is Chair of Pinnacle Investment Management, Chair of the Real Assets Academy Advisory Board, Chair of the RICS Commercial Property Forum, an ex officio Chairman of the Investment Property Forum Board, a regular attendee of the Bank of England Commercial Property Forum, and is a Trustee of the University of London.
