Melissa Longley

Court Member

Melissa began her career in investment management at Lehman Brothers in London, subsequently joining DLJ (Donaldson, Lufkrin & Jenrette).  She then spent five years at Kleinwort Benson Private Bank where she was a Director and Head of Advisory Fund Management.  In 2004 Melissa established Longley Asset Management, specialising in the management of private client portfolios as well as offering a model portfolio service to wealth managers.  Melissa is an experienced non-executive and was a council member for eight years for the Lansdowne Club.

 

She has served as Vice-Chair on the Board of Trustees for Endometriosis UK and has served two three-year terms on the Parochial Church Council for St. Paul’s Church Knightsbridge.  She is honoured to be a founder trustee for the Investment Managers’ Charitable Trust.  Melissa is a Freeman of the City of London and joined the Guild in 2017. In her spare time, Melissa can be found absorbed in ballet, although more recently she has taken some equal pleasure in learning a few ballroom classics.
