As an Arts graduate, Fyona began her City career in support roles, but worked up through the ranks by gaining front office experience and undertaking a series of financial qualifications. She spent several years as a Derivatives and Counterparty Credit Risk Analyst at Aviva Investors, and is currently a Senior Corporate Credit Risk Manager at Standard Chartered Bank.

Fyona was co-chair of the Networks London team for Women in Banking & Finance between 2016 and 2021, and is currently a committee member for the London-based Women's Irish Network. She was a founding member of the Guild, and is committed to greater diversity and inclusion within the Guild's activities and structure.
